Gel Polish
What is gel nail polish?
Gel nail polish is a UV/LED-curable nail coating designed to create a glossy, durable manicure. Unlike traditional air-dry nail polish, gel polish requires curing under a compatible UV or LED nail lamp.
Does Arte Clavo gel polish require a UV/LED lamp?
Yes. Arte Clavo gel polish is designed to cure under a compatible UV or LED nail lamp. Follow the recommended curing time for the specific product and lamp you use.
How many coats of gel polish should I apply?
Apply thin, even layers and cure each layer separately. Depending on the shade and desired opacity, one to three thin coats may be appropriate.
How long should I cure gel polish?
Curing time depends on the formula and your UV/LED lamp. Always follow the curing instructions provided on the individual product page. As a general guide, many gel products require approximately 30–60 seconds under LED or 60–120 seconds under UV, but the recommended time may vary.
HEMA-Free & TPO-Free
What does HEMA-free mean?
HEMA-free means that the product is formulated without HEMA (2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate), an ingredient commonly used in some gel nail products.
HEMA-free does not mean that a product is allergy-proof or suitable for everyone. Avoid contact with uncured gel and follow proper application and curing instructions.
What does TPO-free mean?
TPO-free means that the product is formulated without TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide), a photoinitiator used in some UV/LED-curable products.
Is HEMA-free gel polish allergy-proof?
No. HEMA-free does not mean allergy-proof. Gel products contain other ingredients that may cause irritation or sensitization in some individuals. Avoid skin contact with uncured gel and follow the recommended application and curing instructions.
Are Arte Clavo products TPO-free?

Do semi-cured gel nail strips need a UV/LED lamp?
Yes. Arte Clavo semi-cured gel nail strips require a compatible UV/LED nail lamp unless the individual product listing states otherwise.
Do UV-free gel nail strips need a lamp?

What is aurora pearl gel polish?

What is cat-eye gel polish?
Cat-eye gel polish contains magnetic particles that can be moved with a nail magnet to create a dimensional light-reflective effect.
Application & Nail Care
How do I apply gel polish?
- Prepare and clean the natural nails.
- Apply a compatible base coat.
- Apply a thin layer of gel polish.
- Cure according to the product instructions.
- Repeat if additional coverage is desired.
- Apply a compatible top coat.
- Cure again according to the instructions.
How do I remove gel polish?
Do not peel or forcefully remove cured gel polish. Follow the recommended soak-off removal method for the specific product and use appropriate nail care techniques to minimize damage to the natural nail.
Can I use Arte Clavo gel polish for nail art?
Yes. Gel polish can be used for full-color manicures, French tips, gradients, layered effects and many types of nail art.
How do I make jelly gel polish look more translucent?

Who covers the return shipping cost?
If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item), we will cover the return shipping. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for the return postage.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after we receive your returned items. The amount will be credited back to your original payment method.
Can I return opened gel polish or nail products?
For hygiene and product safety reasons, opened or used nail products may not be eligible for return unless the product arrived damaged or defective. Please review our Return Policy before sending an item back.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at cs@arteclavo.com and include your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. Our team will review the issue and provide the appropriate solution.
